I'm a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed nearly 2 years ago now, and since my diagnosis I've been trying to get up to my level of fitness and activity before my body decided to go haywire on me :-) Ultimately, I'm aiming to be getting into longer rides (around 100 km) on a regular basis and possibly join a cycling club. I'm generally happy with how things are going with managing my blood sugar, although obviously there are good and bad times (which can be very frustrating). I was wondering whether there are other T1Ds that have been through a similar situation and could offer any tips?
