Hello, I've spent the last 12 months getting my ferritin levels up to above 50 with iron tablets and I've noticed the difference in my cycling.
My question is if anyone else has struggled with ferritin levels, and any advice (my levels are dropping again now I'm off the tablets, and although still above 50 I'm noticing the effect on breathing during hard cycling sessions.
I don't think doctors necessarily understand the requirements of cyclists (or anyone who is very active).
